Happiness - 7 Must Know Secrets In Creating Happiness

1. Be Optimistic – Being optimistic help us to overcome ‘Worry’, the number one enemy to happiness. We can choose to see our glasses as half full or half empty. Learn to hope for the best and not worry about things not going in your way. Studies show that when we become optimistic we become happier.

2. Change a different perception – Many of us tend to just take a single point of perception to look at things and often find ourselves unsatisfied with the outcome. Try adopting a different perspective to look at things and see how the result of the new perception is. Are you happier now? If not change another to another way of thinking and start to think about pleasant thoughts and this will help you in becoming happier.


3. Like yourself, like others – Liking gives one a good feeling and has a great impact in creating happiness. By liking ourselves, we feel better and enable us to have a more positive energy. Liking others and seeing the best of them helps to make others their day. In this case, everyone will be happier.

4. Control our desire – Having a high and unrealistic desire can ruin our happiness. Desire may motivate us to accomplish a task but we need to bear in mind that if the desire is unrealistic, we become disillusion and unhappy. However, if we can decide to make our happiness and the happiness of others our greatest desire, and thereby stay focused on what we all really want and need, we be creating happiness.


5. Do what you love – Doing something you love is definitely enjoyable. In the process, we feels happy as we love it and feels even better when we completed the things we love and look forward to the next time. In addition, if you can learn to also like and then love the things that you need to do, plus those things that you do not like to do, your lives become very fun and enjoyable and you can be even happier.

6. Giving – Giving is a gift. To be able to give others and help them gives one a great feeling. By seeing another person benefits and becomes happy from your ‘giving’, is even better than getting 100marks for your Math’s test. Learn to give and help others but if you expect something in return, that will not be a ‘true gift’ and you will not be really happy.


7. Be Happier! – This is the most important secrets in creating happiness. Start to focus on being happy. Smile and think of good feeling and say to yourselves, “I feel great!” every now and then. Focusing on nothing else but feeling happier is an excellent way of better getting in touch with, and strengthening, the feeling of happiness. After a while, you will find yourself tuning into this pleasant feeling at other times of the day when you are also engaged in other activities.

Happiness - Discipline And Self-control

I realize that we usually have a goal at the back of our mind that we have want to achieve. Now, we really want to pursuit our Happiness, you put in efforts in thinking positive and day after day, you tried to be Happy. You start to 'relax' and allow your normal self to gain control again. You begin to live like the way that you term as "unhappy". You start thinking negative thoughts that you wouldn't never be Happy again (Never say never!) and started to be sad.
Usually, at the start, we will put in our best efforts in following the tips to be Happy as we are motivated in making ourselves happy. After some time, we start to lack the discipline and perseverance in continuing and 'obediently' follow the tips! Life is a trade off between instant pleasure and long term reward. Eventually, we lose the will to become happy and forgot the reasons why we want to be happy.

I am sure you would rather be always Happy than just be Happy for now. Am I not right? Since, we already know what we really want and the exact reasons for wanting to be Happy. Isn't it being easier for us to have self control and be more discipline in order to pursuit our Happiness? Unless the reasons are not strong or clear enough, I believe that we are able to do it.

So, we must begin to have discipline in following the steps in making us happy and continue to do that even when we are very down. Gradually, our sub-conscious mind will register it and you be able to be happy and you be smiling at others without you even knowing it.

Sometime, we may not have 'that self-discipline', then, we need to get it from other place and let our life 'control' by others. However, when you are self-disciplined, you don't need to get discipline from anyway and the destiny of your life is in your own hands! We can choose to be HAPPY!
